The Riches of His Glory

The Riches of His Glory (Click for voice of the Bible Poet)

Isa 55:1 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy and eat: yea, come, buy wine and milk without money, and without price.

Acts 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and become obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth: and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

John 14: 1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness; That the man of God may be perfect thoroughly finished unto all good works.

Income is froze, now, to do more with less

The Word of the LORD is my only guess

Come buy without money; thy Word is free

To study and memorize throughout eternity

Believe with thine heart and thou shalt be saved

Obedience, the concrete, His highway is paved

Less materiel, more blessings, so study thy WORD

Character of Christ revealed and assured

He did not own a home and around villages he walked

The sacred writings were everything he taught

Through humble beginnings to be King of all Kings

Its riches in heaven what poverty may bring

Income is froze, will do more with less

The riches of Christ

We will be blessed.

  1. Hey Grandpa. Your poems sound really good over here at my end. The link was easy to get to, and I enjoyed following along with the words and the audio. Great job as always.
