Inspired by II Corinthians 12:11 to 2l

By David Smith August   27, 2010

Be careful what you say, God’s People amongst the saved.

When in eternity; living stones past the grave;

Words are for eternity, and never to be taken back

So pay attention what to say; keep God’s intention right on track.

Though the more, I love you, the less I be loved

That is as pertinent today, in conflict as we shove.

Revelation of truth, signs of apostles we here

Their obedience and dedication, faith we hold so dear.

The old man, the old nature is at constant war;

Exercise the new nature, God’s gifts for ever more.

Inspired by II Corinthians twelve: eleven to twenty one

To put it in perspective, faith in thy beloved son.

The Constant Gospel Message

The Constant Gospel Message

By David Smith August 27, 2010

John 17:4 I have glorified thee on earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do

John 20:3 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar; he said it is finished, and he bowed his head and gave u the ghost.

Hebrews 13:8 Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever

Jer 17:9 The heart is deceitful and desperately wicked.

Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God

Is 64:6 All our righteousness is as filthy rages.

Heb 5:9 author of eternal salvation

Don’t change the Gospel Message; the Message changes ME

To become like Christ; Salvation intends to be.

The heart of man and heart of Christ is nothing to compare;

But the bridge that joins the two, God’s grace, the Cross, we share.

Nothing we have done, but the finished work of God.

Christ did it all; the ultimate sacrifice we applaud.

We worship in His Name; and with His Word so clear;

Our great accomplishments as filthy rags becomes the fear;

So we make the change to mirror the Living LORD;

Only by faith alone, a price we can afford.

Inspired by Acts Twenty-four

Text: Acts 24:24,25  And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ. And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgement to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.

Temperance, Judgment and Righteousness to come;

Felix trembled, emotions on the run.

Paul accomplished from Jerusalem to Rome

Despite his bondage; liberty well known

All for God, truth reveals the error

Being transparent no other judgement can compare

Truth of God comes to light;

Judgement seat of Christ shines so bright

No need to fear the power of man

Deep down inside on the mighty Rock to stand;

Sinners melt before the presence of God.

Devine righteousness, God’s way we applaud.

2 Corinthians 11:16-33

By David Smith August 9, 2010

Scripture Text:

2 Corinthians 11: Verse 30:  If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things which concern mine infirmities. The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knoweth that I lie not.

Ecclestiastes 3:7 A time to rend, and a time to sew: a time to keep silence, and a time to speak:

John 6:48 I am the bread of life

There is a time for everything under the sun;

A time for silence and a time for talk

Spread salvation, God’s word the solid rock!

Paul was forced to boast in weakness

Not in himself; but in his Lord’s meekness;

Let Christ do the shining; step forward in his way;

The internal feeding; the bread from heaven today;

If any man take you, smite you, devoir you;

Smite you in the face

Paul became an apostle to set the Christian pace;

He set the tone; to the Churches he did write;

The foundation of the faith; Let Christ shine so bright.
