Inspired at Ministry Meeting
Exodus 28:21 And the stones shall be with the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a signet; every one with his name shall they be according to the twelve tribes.
1 Kings 18:31 And Elijah said unto all the people, Come near unto me. And all the people came near unto him. And he repaired the alter of the LORD that was broken down. And Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, unto whom the word of the LORD came, saying Israel shall be thy name:
Joshua 4:3 And command ye them, saying Take you hence out of the midst of Jordan, out of the place where the priests’ feet stood firm, twelve stones, and ye shall carry them over with you, and leave them in the lodging place where ye shall lodge this night.
Rev 21:14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
Salvation, baptism and administration so fine;
With Twelve precious stones a picture we find.
A breastplate worn by a priest to compare;
Representing Israel with Twelve Stones to share
Twelve tribes represented by the priest as he stood;
In the Holy of Holies Representing son of God as he would.
Those are the stones on the breastplate we read;
Every gem is unique to the tribes that’s received.
Restoration comes to light in a baptism we see;
Where water is consumed and the sacrifice that be
Right sacrifice, right alter, and right time, where everything was consumed;
Calvary complete sacrifice where sin is doomed.
When Peter denied his Lord he made a grave mistake;
A warning for preachers that fail for the humble road to take;
The twelve disciples judge the twelve tribes so clear;
In Revelation, the unbeliever, has everything to fear.
In Joshua in new life as the Jordan they cross.
The new birth in Baptism, a picture comes across.
Seek those things which are above.
The finished works of the cross; complete in God’s Love.
